Dubbeldam Lamboo. A valuable addition to our national network.

For over 60 years, Lamboo Repair & Carrosserie in Zoetermeer has been known as a trusted name in the transport industry. Founded by Ferry Lamboo, the company has grown to become a specialist in damage repair, servicing and maintenance, bodywork and new-builds, with a strong reputation for tail-lift inspections and carrying out hundreds of MOT and LPK inspections each year. With its own mobile service unit, a 24/7 breakdown service and a completely brand-independent approach, Lamboo has been offering transport operators fast and flexible support for decades, both on-site and in the workshop.

From now on, Lamboo forms part of Dubbeldam Truck & Techniek and the branch will continue to operate under the name Dubbeldam Lamboo. With this step, we are strengthening our presence in the economic heart of the Netherlands, where many transport companies and fleet operators are based. This brings the number of branches in our division to nine, and we welcome 36 new colleagues with extensive experience in damage repair, bodywork construction and service.

Together, our branches form a nationwide network of technical specialists in damage repair, bodywork construction, hydraulic system installation, and service & maintenance. This is exactly where we want to be with Dubbeldam: close to our customers, with the right expertise in the right place.

For customers and staff, little will change in practice. Arnaud Lamboo, son of founder Ferry Lamboo, will remain as branch manager in Zoetermeer, ensuring that the familiar way of working and the personal approach are maintained.

As we continue to grow, product groups will increasingly be concentrated at branches where expertise is greatest. In this way, we are building a powerful network of specialists that will enable us to serve our customers even better.”

Ferry Lamboo is also looking ahead with confidence: “After more than 60 years, I have found a partner that shares the same values: craftsmanship, reliability and service. Lamboo and Dubbeldam have known each other for a long time and share the same approach to work. Dubbeldam offers Lamboo the structure and network to grow further. The fact that my son Arnaud is taking over the reins gives me the confidence that the team and our customers are in good hands.”
